Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks employees release a 13-pound female Bald Eagle on McDonald Pass in the Rocky Mountains. The Eagle was rehabilitated at the Montana Wildlife Center in Helena following debilitating injuries suffered from contact with high voltage transmission lines.

For even greater success in the future, the Foundation For Animals raised funds for a new flight pen facility to enhance the rehabilitation of this type of wing injury.
