SPAY/NEUTER AND EMERGENCY FUNDS PROGRAMS MAKE A DIFFERENCE |
FFA's Spay/Neuter Assistance program got underway in 1992 with a $500 donation from the Federated Humane Societies of Montana. Assistance was made available to pet owners who could not otherwise afford to have their pets altered.
Our Emergency Funds program provides a safety net for animals in critical need. In most cases, the program helps pet owners who could not otherwise afford the total cost of |

unexpected medical treatment that can mean the difference between life and death for the pets they love. Initial funding for the program was through a $500 gift from the Helena Veterinary Medical Association.
Ongoing support for both programs has come primarily from the Animal Center Veterinary Clinic in Helena, Montana through a unique and generous gift program. |

Since 1992, all euthanasia fees received by the clinic are donated to FFA to be applied to the Spay/Neuter and Emergency Funds programs. To date, the Animal Center has contributed more than $44,000 to these important programs.
